Same car - 3 Years Later
The first time I saw this car in person / shot this car was at Sturup back in 2022. Back then the car was freshly built and everything was new and fresh.
After seeing the car get used over the past years, and changes being made to improve both looks and performance, I wanted to put together a small comparison showing the reality behind owning and building these type of cars, if you plan on using them “correctly”.
To start off Daniel switched from an early 90’s look to a late 90’s/early 00’s look instead. The Chuki front bumper was switched out to a Pignose front with a big air vent cut into it for better airflow.
As mentioned in the original machine check post Daniel was keen on trying 17” wheels instead of the 15” to be able to put the power down better and he’s taking action to his words. The SSR’s have been switched out for some sets of 5zigen and Advan wheels. The original steel fenders have been changed out for some wider and vented fiberglas fenders to allow for more aggressive steering angle.
But some smaller things have stayed the same over the years.
The engine bay looks more or less the same. Things are just a bit more worn and dirty from 3 years of track-abuse.
Hope you enjoyed this little throwback / comparison.
Looking forward to doing another one of the same car in a few years.
